Arsenal are in talk to sign inform Shakhtar Donetsk winger this January

 


Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta thinks that Mykhailo Mudryk has frightening potential and believes that he can make the Shakhtar Donetsk winger even better, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

The CBS Sports journalist has reported on Twitter that Arsenal boss Arteta is a fan of Mudryk, and that the Spaniard thinks that there is room to turn the Ukraine international into a more versatile winger.

Jacobs has claimed that Arsenal are among the clubs who are keen on signing the 21-year-old winger, who is valued at €60 million (£53 million) by his club Shakhtar.

Nothing advanced or club-to-club despite genuine interest. Price (then €50m) put #AFC off last summer. But Arteta sees Mudryk's frightening potential & believes there's room to turn him into a more versatile winger.

In our view, Mykhailo Mudryk would be a very good signing for Arsenal and would make the Gunners even more exciting and potent in attack.

That Arteta reportedly wants the winger at the Emirates Stadium shows how much the Spaniard really likes him.

Mudryk has scored four goals in seven Ukrainian Premier League games and has scored three goals and given two assists in six UEFA Champions League matches for Shakhtar so far this season.

Arsenal are in the race for the Premier League title this season, and Mudryk would enhance their chances.
