Arsenal looking to hold fresh talks with 21 years old MLS star
It is understood that Arsenal are looking to hold fresh talks with Facundo Torres about a move to the Emirates.
The January winter transfer window is almost here and the Gunners are expected to storm with the hope of reinforcement so as to challenge for the title this season.
Torres boasts of 10 goals and has handed 13 assists in Major League Soccer this season and his performances is attracting all sorts of interest from big clubs.
According to The London Evening Standard, the North London outfit will hold talks with the agent of winger Torres in an attempt to secure a deal.
The report adds Arsenal could add another MLS signing after deals for Auston Trusty and Matt Turner.
In his remarks, American Brad Friedel recently claimed that he could be a very good signing for the Gunners – He told OLBG: ‘Games at the Emirates where Arsenal would be on top of a lot of teams in terms of possession, then he’d be very good.
“Just because he has that final pass or the final cross and really good link up play.
‘Mikel Arteta’s business recently since going in and revamping the club, he hasn’t got too many wrong, so he obviously see’s something in him if reports are accurate.’
