Report: Arsenal make contact to sign £69m striker, Erik ten Hag wants him

Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United and Graham Potter’s Chelsea are among the clubs who have made contact in regard to signing Dusan Vlahovic from Juventus in the January transfer window, according to Tuttosport.

Arsenal and Manchester United make contact for Dusan Vlahovic.

The Italian publication has claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all are interested in signing Vlahovic and have made contact with the Serbia international striker’s agent in order to see if the youngster would be interested in a move away from Juventus.

The 22-year-old moved to Juventus from Serie A rivals Fiorentina in January 2022.

Juventus will want €80 million (£69 million) as transfer fee to let the striker, who played for Serbia at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, leave in the January transfer window, according to the report.

Arsenal need to sign a striker due to injury to Brazil international Gabriel Jesus.

Jesus was injured while on international duty with Brazil at the 2022 Qatar World Cup and could be out for at least three months.

Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag has already said that he wants to sign a replacement for the departed Cristiano Ronaldo.

However, with Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain also interested in Dusan Vlahovic, it is going to be tough for the Gunners and the Red Devils to get a deal done in the middle of the season.

Moreover, Juventus will not sell the youngster on the cheap, especially in the middle of the campaign.
